This Is Why NLP & Time Line Therapy® Are So Important

You have probably heard the saying: “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” But what if you don’t know how to stop digging yourself into that hole? Have you ever found yourself in such a place?

What if you are so stuck that you are no longer aware of how bad the situation is? What if you are flooded with so many negative emotions that you feel defeated. You may go through days, weeks, months or even years with the feeling of having lost control. Perhaps at some point you “try” doing the things that helped you get back on track in the past, but now they do not work. You are left spiraling into a devastating plummet and unable to stop.

I know that spiraling down feeling very well. You see, my life was pretty successful a few years ago. I worked hard and grew by constantly learning, improving and taking risks when necessary. I was willing to change my approach to make business projects work and that paid off. Overall I thought I was on my way, although I was not sure to where, but I was satisfied with my life at that moment.

Then my world suddenly shattered. My marriage fell apart and I ended up divorcing my high school sweetheart. I was no longer able to see my two little boys everyday. My business became embroiled in a lawsuit after following faulty advice. It took me a while to discover how much financial distress I was in. I could not sleep. Day after day, when the sun rose I was still awake, then found myself so tired I would pass out in bed, when most people were getting up.

I lived like that for months, unable to function during the day. What was worse, I did not care.

I felt hopeless and I didn’t want anyone to be aware of my failure, of my shame, so I hid it from anyone that knew me. My heart overflowed with anger, sadness, guilt, fear, doubt, anxiety – emotions that were never part of my daily life before, which now controlled me. I lived in that dark place for at least two years, without a clue of how to come out.

Then one day, I picked up a box that contained some of my past journals. I started reading the thoughts I had written from my previous years. I spent the night reading, devouring the pages filled with positive words that I wasn’t using anymore in my life. Reading about my past experiences, learnings, successes, I clearly could see who I was then versus who I had become now and I…started crying…alone in my apartment in the corner of my bedroom. That’s when I realized that if I wanted to get out of this, it was up to me and that I needed to be grateful for the things that I had around me instead of focusing on what I had in the past and everything I didn’t have anymore.

I was ready for a change!

I knew it was going to be long journey, but I also knew that if I kept doing what I was doing nothing good was going to come out of this. I had hit rock bottom. I realized that the path I had chosen consciously or unconsciously didn’t have a light at the end of the tunnel. I took the little courage I had left, and started doing research online. Was there anything out there that could pull me out of this hole? I started asking myself the right questions and that’s when I found out about NLP & Time Line Therapy® on www.NLPCoaching.com. I decided to take a course on NLP & Time Line Therapy® and flew to Las Vegas in 2014. The Tad James Company was offering a 7-day immersion in the techniques of NLP, Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis and NLP Coaching, called the FasTrak™ NLP Practitioner Certification Training. I took a total leap of faith, as my future depended on it.

By the end of the first day of the training, I became aware that something bigger than I ever thought was right there for me to grab on to and pull myself out of the dark place I was living in. I knew that this was going to be my way out of the hole.

By day 3 of the training, all of the information that I was hearing made total sense to me, the words that were spoken, resonated with me. I was listening and taking copious notes, as I could tell this was exactly what I was looking for.

By day 5 of the training, changes were happening within me. The foundation for a thriving future was being built. My negative emotions were all gone. Doubts and limitations that I was unaware of came to light and disappeared right away with the tools and exercises we used during the training with NLP and Time Line Therapy®.

And by the end of the last day, on day 7, I then knew that the process I had just experienced made total sense to me and would make sense to many other people. I felt empowered, not just motivated, but really empowered, without a doubt of what I was capable of achieving. My direction was certain and clear!

I left Las Vegas aware that for the first time, I did not feel any negative emotions, any limiting belief, any doubts, but instead a sense of certainty, total certainty for my bright future. I started writing down how I wanted that future to look while on the plane back home. I began the first chapter of my first book right there and then, literally my new life.

I decided that this empowering learning process could not stop with me. I had to give back this gift. I changed my career path and became a coach in NLP, Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis and NLP Coaching. Now I am a Master Coach as well as a Trainer of all of the modalities.

Transformation starts with one’s self. But that’s just the beginning – my transformation evolves by helping other people find their way. My goal now is to help others to become aware of their limitations, to remove any blockages they might have from their past and to take action so they can write their own book of a successful life.

That is what NLP has done for me! And,this is why NLP and Time Line Therapy® are so important for you and your successful future!
