Marketing Tricks: Article No. 03
Faster than you can realize what’s going on the business landscape in the world is changing. It is changing so rapidly that it is really difficult to keep up. But imagine how difficult it is if you’re lacking even the basic understanding of the language used (masterfully I must admit) on you.
Here is our next pattern from our NLP based PR linguistic patterns.
Pattern No. 3 – IT FOLLOWS – A precedes B, therefore A is the cause of B
This is an easy one.
Let’s say that company X is caught red-handed with some bad shady deals. The company spokesperson comes out with a press release saying that something bad happened while a certain person was the CEO. Actually, they always use far more than this pattern alone, the first being “Deny Everything”, but we’re not there yet. We will talk about all these linguistic techniques one by one.
There may be no provable relationship between the two, however since the old CEO was there before the “bad thing” happened, automatically the old CEO becomes the cause of the bad shady deals. For those of you who are already graduates of NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Trainings you realize that this is the use of an NLP Language Presupposition, namely a Complex Equivalence (CEq). A CEq equates two things, like an equal sign in the middle of a sentence. X happens and that means (=) Y result. In this PR language pattern it is used with no relationship between the two ends, the CEO and the “bad thing”.
From now on, any time something negative tarnishes the image of the company, by association there is a temptation to associate it with the old CEO.
This is a very common pattern.
Our graduate’s testimonial: “I started from nothing, in fact I was in debt, and I really made a great effort to come to the training. I made a commitment of about 15k and I took the trainings. Most important after the trainings I followed their advice; I did exactly what they said. As predicted in the first year I made a six figure income, and I made the trainings and the learnings I went through into a great career and business opportunity.” See the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dJkdI47op4
After being certified in NLP I was able to utilize the tools in building rapport with the majority of people in full confidence.
NLP helped me have a better understanding of our thought process (Internal Representation) and in doing so, I’m a lot more understanding with others.
NLP On-line course gave me the freedom to have all the tools I need at my beck and call. And I didn’t even have to leave home to do it.
NLP process of stacking anchors helps me to continue to “re-charge” my motivation and positive state that I need to be in when I have challenges in life.
When you hear about a press release from a certain institution, or corporation, or office, please pay attention. This is where you will find pretty much all the linguistic patterns we discuss here and we teach in our NLPCoaching Trainings.
Then you can take a section or portion of your (NLP Coaching or otherwise) services, and begin to establish a series of positive effects that result from your customers using it.
If you are an NLP Trainer choose a section in a training or a NLP technique you like and establish a series of positive effects that result from somebody learning that section in the training and form the use of the technique.
Likewise, you can choose a section or part of a business (or a NLP Training or a NLP technique) you dislike and establish a series of negative effects that resulted from that.
Have fun using this one.
Until next time, be well!
