Healing with NLP Rebel Brown

RebelBy Rebel Brown Guest Writer

What if the doctors told you they needed to replace the ball joint in your foot if you ever wanted to walk freely again? And that you’d be off your feet for 18 weeks?

That’s what happened to me three years ago.   The pain in my foot had been getting worse and worse for a year. It finally got to the point I couldn’t wear heels, and even walking in my cowboy boots was painful. I finally decided to find out what was up so I went to the SOAR clinic in San Francisco (where the 49’ers go) and they did an x-ray of my foot.

What they found was interesting to say the least. I had an arthritis-based calcium ball the size of a ping pong ball all around the joint above my right big toe. Seems that pair of ski boots I hated had jammed my toe on the steeps and deeps and I’d literally “ruined” the joint. No option but surgery.

Uh huh,.

I knew there had to be another option. After taking the Master Practitioner Training with The Tad James Co and Tad and Adriana I asked them, “what would you do if you were me?”

  • Pendulum work for my UM to heal the joint as in the hypnosis section of both the NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner trainings,
  • Time Line Therapy® to put a pain free joint in my future and to release all the Negative Emotions from the past and all the anxieties for the future in relation to my joint and foot and my ability to walk freely.

Well, I said, I can do all of that but aside from that I started drinking distilled water to pull out the calcium as it released from my foot, and I also referred to information regarding the positive effects of glucosamine and chondroitin. So I said to myself why not try it? Nothing lost right? To be honest I simply dislike the idea of surgery!

So I began to heal my foot with my mind. When I began, the pain was so bad I could barely walk more than a block without aching, aching, aching. That was in August.

By November I was able to wear my first pair of heels, a cute little pair of boots I bought in Australia.   But it still hurt if I wore them for more than an hour. Ah, the things we gals do for fashion.

I kept up the practice and by February, I was wearing high heels without too much pain.   By April, the pain was entirely gone and the calcium ball – well, it’s the size of a bean these days.

Every time I put on a pair of heels I have to giggle. Yet another example of the limitless power of my mind; to heal, to create, to thrive.
