California. For example, if it is January 1 in Los Angeles, it is
January 2 in Australia and New Zealand, so make sure to tell your

THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL TRAINING -- A UNIQUE
EVENT!
This Ancient Huna training will be conducted in Rotorua, New
Zealand inside a sacred Maori Temple called the Marae. During this
training, most of our classes will be held there. We have visited
the Marae and the energy is really good there, having been used for
generations only for very spiritual purposes. This is one of the
most complete return to the ancient ways that you can have. We are
committed that you will have the very best experience.
During this Ancient Huna experience, we will
visit sacred Maori Temples, ancient sites on the volcano “Mount
Tarawera”, and share with you our most recent discoveries that will
allow you to begin to complete your knowledge of Ancient Huna as we
have and as we continue to research the frontiers of human
consciousness.
WHY ROTORUA?
According to tradition in 1340, 7 canoes left Hawai'i and
arrived in New Zealand. In the ensuing years the Maori culture, as
you will see, enforced their boundaries in a way that the Hawaiians
did not, and so, preserved the ancient teachings in a way which was
not possible in Hawai'i. Many of the ancient concepts present in the
1300 in Hawai'i, have long since disappeared. But they still survive
in the Maori tradition. And so, we feel it’s time for us to go back
to our roots.
Before Adriana and I went to New Zealand we
had heard from Uncle George (and others who practiced the ancient
ways) that a trip to New Zealand and connection to the Maori
tradition will help to fill in gaps that were missing, and will put
many concepts and teachings together. That was certainly our
experience.
CERTAIN KNOWLEDGE WAS MISSING:
This one idea alone will help you to understand why we must go
to New Zealand for our next Huna training: According to Hawaiian
legend, the Kahunas of old prayed to the gods for assistance. Among
others they prayed to, were Kane, Ku, Lono, and Kanaloa. However,
they never prayed to Io because Io was omnipresent and everywhere.
In New Zealand the Kahunas of old (Tohunga) also prayed to Tane, Tu,
Rongo, and Tangaroa. And according to those who know the ancient
ways, the order of Io, the Supreme Being, was confined to the higher
class of Tohunga; those of lower orders were not allowed to acquire
knowledge of its chants and prayers. Those of lower orders must have
known that such an order existed, but were not allowed to utilize it
in any way or to learn its secrets.
I CREATED THE HUNA INTENSIVE 16 YEARS AGO:
16 years ago, when I created the first Huna intensive with the
permission and the encouragement of my mentors in the Hawaiian
tradition, I envisioned us as being the Order of I’o. To support
that thinking, I created the I’o symbol. Now, realize that for 16
years we have claimed to be the order of I’o, but we were never
connected to Io. This is why we must.
NOW, WE GO BACK TO THE SOURCE:
With our next Ancient Huna Experience we must go back and
reconnect with the higher initiations that will assist us to
increase our connection to the very source, Io.
We’ve chosen Rotorua. The Taupo and Rotorua
volcanic zones are generally recognized as the most active volcanic
areas in the world. About 250 kms (about 155 miles) in length and
30-80 kms (20-50 miles) wide, the zone follows a north easterly
direction. This area is anchored to the south by the volcanoes
Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu. It is a living, breathing
(literally) volcano and the natural energy of the Earth is released
continually. It is a place of incredible connection to the
life-force energy of Mother Earth.
